Day 1 11/03/01 (Sun) |
Depart Penang by flight
TG430 (PEN/BKK 840/920) and TG319 (BKK/KTM 1030/1245) Arrive Kathmandu Airport 12.45pm and straight drive to Nagarkot. Nagarkot has developed into a favourite weekend gateway for those seeking mountain views on Himalaya & among them the highest peak of the world - Mount Everest. Overnight in Nagarkot. |

Nagarkot/Kathmandu Early morning watch sunrise and enjoy scenic beauty of Himalaya. Later drive to Kathmandu and check-in to hotel in Kathmandu. Afternoon sight-seeing in Kathmandu City. Overnight in Hotel in Kathmandu. |

Kathmandu/Bhairwal/Lumbini
(by flight) Morning flight to Bhairwa and check into Temple in Lumbini. Afternoon visit to Asoka Pillar, Queen Maha Maya's Pool in Lumbini. Overnight: Temple in Lumbini |

Lumbini/Sravasti/Kushinagar
(12 hrs bus journey) Drive 6 hrs to Sravasti where Buddha spent 24 vassa and visit the Jetavana Monastery, Ananda Bodhi and leave for Kushinagar. On arrival check into Kushinagar Temple. Overnight: Temple in Kushinagar. |

Kushinagar/Varanasi (6
hrs bus journey) Morning visit Mahaparanivana Vihara and Rambhar Stupa. After lunch, drive to Varanasi. Overnight: Hotel in Sarnath. |

Day 6 16/03/01 (Fri) |
Varanasi/Bodhgaya (7hrs
bus journey) Early morning Ganges River boat ride to watch sunrise and visit City of "Burning & Learning" for it is the only place where cremation take place 24 hours a day and also the only city with the famous Sanskrit University. Return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, visit Mulaganda Kuti Vihara Sarnath and drive to Bodhgaya. Overnight: Hotel in Bodhgaya. |

Bodhgaya Visit Mahabodhi Vihara, Bodhi Tree, Niranjana River, Lady Sujata's Kuti Shrine. Overnight: Hotel in Bodhgaya. |

Bodhgaya/Ragjir/Nalanda
(3hrs bus journey) Drive to Ragjir, visit Vulture Peak & Satapani Cave. To Nalanda, visit well-known oldest University of the world. Overnight: Temple in Nalanda. |

Nalanda/ Vaishali/Patna/Lucknow
(3 hrs bus journey and flight) Drive to Vaishali, visit the Asoka Pillar of Kolhue with Lion Capital facing Kushinagar. Drive to Patna and take flight to Lucknow. Overnight: Hotel in Lucknow. |

Lucknow/Sankissa/Agra (12
hrs bus journey) Drive to Agra en route visit Sankissa where Buddha descended from Tusitha Heaven after preaching Abhidhama to his mother Devi Maya. Overnight: Hotel in Agra. |

Agra/Delhi/BKK/Penang Morning visit world wonder Taj Mahal & Agra Fort. After lunch drive to Delhi. Arrive and enjoy farewell dinner & transfer to airport for flight: TG316 DEL/BKK (1210/540) and TG415 BKK/KLIA (840/1150) |

Transit from Bangkok at
8.40am. Arrive KLIA at 11.5am. Depart KLIA at 2.35pm and return to Penang at 3.20pm by MH1146. |
